Just over a week ago in Dunedin, we had the South Islanders battle out for positions in a very strong field. In the end we had Jonathan Truesdale from Canterbury and Kylie Johnston from Dunedin get through, A similar thing happened in Wellington on Saturday with Greg Taylor from Manawatu and Bob Edwards from Wellington reaching the finals at Tauranga on Thursday. It sort of highlights the fact that Manawatu and Canterbury are screaming out for an indoor facility, and let’s hope that eventuates sooner rather than later.
