Mikaere Wiki went very well on the carpet yesterday at Takaro to take out the qualifying event, with Janine Wiki in second and Andrew Bell third. It was an unusual day with two defaults upsetting things a bit, and this is making us look a little harder about our pre-match communications. It doesn’t seem to be a safe assumption that people put tournaments in their diaries, and that’s something we have to work with.
