Natarsha qualifying was expected as far as I’m concerned. She’s a real tough nut to crack, and on her day, will beat anyone. I’m a great fan of hers, so stoked to see her in the finals. She said to me that this was the one chance she would get to play the likes of Corey and Disco, and she got there albeit in a nail-biting finish watching Davey Jones fall a couple of shots short in his final game.  Also, absolutely wrapped to see my open pairs partner Hein qualify. The better bowler he becomes, then then the better pairs team we become 🙂 Davey Jones ended up in third narrowly, and Manawatu junior Mike Pitcher was a creditable fourth.
