Things turned into a bit of a shambles up there this year. New Lynn’s bookings kept changing due to Bowls Hastings / Bowls NZ / Bowls Auckland complications over indoor space for their matches, so we got bumped a few times in terms of dates. I’m not complaining about that as I know the pecking order, and I lost the plot a bit with promotions given the constant changes, so it made things a bit tricky in terms of entries. Good buddy, Paul Neazor, is going to look after that region from up there next year. Anyway, we ended with a three Centre qualifying event at the Cossie Club in Pukekohe, which was taken out by Taraiva Teritaiti  from Counties MK, and Allen Lockie was the top qualifier from Auckland (there were no North Harbour entrants).
